aromatherapy & essential oils 101

aromatherapy is the use of the natural fragrances of essential oils to enhance physical, mental, and emotional wellness.

what are essential oils and how can they be used?

essential oils are highly concentrated liquids derived from aromatic plants. they have a strong scent and can be inhaled or applied directly to the skin (our favourite way!).

tip 1: if you're using a diffuser, make sure the oils you're using are safe to use around children and pets.

tip 2: if you're applying to the skin and have sensitive skin or allergies, test a small amount of oil on your inner arm before applying it to other parts of your body.

what are the benefits?

different essential oils offer different benefits, but the most common benefit is the promotion of relaxation and cleansing of the body and mind. they can even boost your immune system!
